Jobs and scheduling

Create and schedule a job

Raise a job, schedule it on the calendar, assign engineers, and track it to completion.

Updated 10 June 2026

Creating a job

  1. Jobs → New job (or click a slot on the calendar).
  2. Pick the customer (and site, if the customer has more than one).
  3. Add a title and any notes the engineer needs before arriving.
  4. Set the schedule: a date and time. Jobs can also sit unscheduled in the backlog until you're ready.
  5. Assign engineers: one, or several for two-person jobs. Each assigned engineer sees the job on their phone and gets a push notification.
  6. Attach contacts for the job (who to call on arrival) and any documents (RAMS, drawings, access instructions).

The calendar

The calendar shows every scheduled job by month, week or day. Drag a job to reschedule it; the assigned engineers are notified of the change automatically. Longer jobs can carry multiple schedule items (e.g. first fix Tuesday, second fix Friday) under one job record.

What the engineer sees

On their phone: the job card with customer, address (one tap to navigate), contacts, notes, attached documents, the job chat, and buttons to add photos and complete forms. Status moves through scheduled → in progress → completed as they work.

Completing

When the engineer marks the job complete, the office sees it immediately. Everything captured on site (photos, forms, signatures, notes, time) is on the job record, ready for invoicing if there's something to bill.
